After looking at the journey page now the created thoughts are flowing through the veins.
The world is your oyster and there is a vast selection of products to choose from.
Sometimes too much choice for our clients. Therefore Blaines are here to help! we have created a simple and easy bullet point of items to consider.
When you start your project journey and visit one of our showrooms it always helps us to help you with what you want. Consider these key points to ensure a successful and satisfying outcome:
Understand the specific needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
Consider thinking about how the room is used from cooking habits, family size, entertaining frequency, storage requirements, and any specific features or appliances they desire.
Assess the existing kitchen space and discuss potential layout options.
Consider the work triangle (the distance between the sink, refrigerator, and oven) for efficient workflow.
Are there any structural changes or modifications required?
What is the preferred style, – modern, traditional, farmhouse, or contemporary?
Consider different colour preferences, finishes, and overall design themes to create a cohesive look.
What sort of storage is needed based on the use of the room?
Are doors or draws needed to make life easier?
Stone, Quartz, Timber or Laminate. Tiles, Alloy Board, Upstands and Paint. There are many stylish options for countertops, backsplashes, and flooring materials.
Consider factors like durability, maintenance, and aesthetics.
Reuse current appliances or install new kitchen appliances (oven, cooker, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.). Is there a specific brand or colour that is required?
Would freestanding or integrated be better for the finished room? Have a look at our electrical department for the major household appliance we can supply.
Having the correct light will make life a lot easier and more pleasant. Ensure shadows are not being cast in the high work areas.
What finishes are needed on the floor and the walls? These can be areas where contrasting colours, patterns and diversity can be brought in to make the room seem very different.
In a small room, light walls often give the impression of a brighter, lighter area.
Each project will have unique requirements and considerations and Blaines are here to help you every step of the way.
By considering these key points, we can work with you to create a beautiful and functional kitchen that exceeds your expectations.
