This initial call gives Blaines time to really listen to the client so that we can understand the wants, needs, ideas, and visions. It’s also a lovely opportunity for the client to arrange to see our showroom displays and be develop their inspiration.
Blaines take pride in the time and care we dedicate to getting to know the client, to design an award-winning project that is practical, accessible, and most importantly what they want. At Blaines we can offer everything from a turnkey fully project-managed installation to a stripped-back supply-only project. Either way, the client still gets our full complimentary design service and support from our fantastic teams.
Nothing can beat getting hands-on with the product. Our showrooms are fully interactive, we encourage clients to come touch and feel the product and experience the quality of the brands we have in our wide range of displays. Our showroom teams are always on hand to help answer any questions and guide you through what is on display.
After the initial consultation with one of our showroom team, one of our designers will usually visit your home to ensure we have a thorough understanding of your existing setup, as well as your needs, goals, hopes, and dreams. The designer will come to your property with the information and aspirations you have spoken about with the showroom team.
The designer will make a full-scaled drawing of your kitchen making notes of all the services that are there and any extra work needed. They will also check that any electrical, gas, and plumbing work can be carried out to current standards.
Once we’ve visited your home, your designers will create an absolutely stunning concept image of your new living space, be it a kitchen or bathroom, helping you to visualise how the final product is going to look. While technology is useful, it plays just a small part – it is our expertise, in-depth knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail that results in the superb kitchens, bathrooms, and home offices that we create.
The client decides to go ahead with their project so now we just need a start date. We will agree on a week commencing date and ask for a deposit to secure this. A 30% deposit is required at the time of signing the contract, once we have received the deposit then we will release all documents, images, and plans to the client for them to take away.
Shortly after this, you will receive the documents with all the information you need including installation dates, delivery schedules, plans, and images. The beautiful thing about Blaines is we want to remove the stress of an installation away from you. We want to make the process as easy and as simple as possible for the client.
You will receive a carefully planned schedule of work that outlines key dates in the installation. We ensure that our dedicated teams follow each other to ensure a smooth operation
As the project starts you will find that deliveries will start coming to your home, whether it’s furniture direct from the manufacturer, a skip for all the waste, or products directly from our own warehouse you will see your garage start to fill up.
Please make sure that you have enough space to store the products when it is delivered. It is recommended a single garage will suffice (depending on the project size) if this is not available somewhere dry and secure. Payment 2 is 65% and this is generally up to a week before delivery.
We have an array of crafts and tradespeople that work as one whole team to ensure the project is finished to the highest possible standard. Our tradespeople take care of your home and treat your property as if it was their own.
We know how much your home means to you! So please do not worry! We will take our time and give the products and your home the most amount of care possible. If an item arrives damaged, we will notify suppliers as soon as possible and we will order the replacement, so hopefully it will not affect your installation.
When the units arrive, they are packaged carefully, so the various parts of your kitchen furniture, appliances, and accessories will arrive in pristine condition. Until they are fitted, they should be stored carefully. During the installation process, we are in touch with the client and the installation teams.
We want to make sure everything is going to plan and that any unexpected situations are picked up and discussed with a solution in place as quickly as possible to ensure we keep the project on track and within the predicted time frame.
Payment 3 is 5%, this is due when the project is completed, all the snags have been completed and the project has been signed off.
