Supply Only
Blaines Interiors are well known for its fully project-managed “turn-key” installations. However a supply-only project is also available and the client still gets the same amount of support, time, care, and guidance as a “turn-key” project. Our clients of supply-only projects are equally important as our “turnkey” project clients.
In this project, the client came to Blaines Interiors via a personal recommendation. The client was in the process of having an extension built. They were at the stage where they needed to start to develop the kitchen design ready for service first fix.
Blaines Interiors were able to design the kitchen based on the technical drawings that were provided by the client.
The client was the overall project manager, managing the extension build and the various trades involved with that. Blaines produced a detailed plan that enabled the client to work with their trades to ensure the first fix and then the full installation was completed as needed.
The Kitchen
Princeton is a popular Symphony Gallery door. It is an elegant and refreshing single-piece shaker door. The worktop is a PVC-edged laminate, PVC edging helps reduce the possibility of moisture ingress around the edges of a worktop.
The client had a good idea of what they wanted and the design and layout were quickly established. Further discussions took place with the design team allowing for the client’s wishes and dreams to come to life.
The client likes to have the worktop clear of items; storage was going to be a design point that needed to be considered. Along the wall wall units were installed to match the width of the base unit below. The clients were happy to have 724mm tall wall units, although 900mm wall units are available and would have fitted nicely the client felt that the top part of the wall unit would be inaccessible.
The extractor fan used was an integrated canopy hood that is in the 560mm wall as the client did not want a chimney hood on display.
Blaines Interiors recommended products include the Neff Hide ‘n’ Slide oven, Neff Induction hob, Blanco Sink and Tap, and Duropal worktops. We find these products have lasted the test of time, they are hardwearing and durable. Should there be any issues the aftercare services are extremely helpful.
