The client had mood boards of projects and products, whilst our talented designer Anthony pulled her dreams and conceptions to reality and completion. At Blaines, we take pride in exceeding our client’s expectations. This project is a shining example of the trust and satisfaction, that blossoms when clients experience the care and attention to detail that define the Blaines experience.
In the realm of home transformations, there’s a unique joy in revisiting a familiar client. Especially when a client has experienced the exceptional care and attention to detail that Blaines provides.
Recently, we had the pleasure of embarking on a second project for a returning client. After the first project was a resounding successful kitchen transformation, the client returned having been with Blaines before. The client loved the dedicated service and meticulous craftsmanship that makes Blaines different.
Our latest endeavour involved refining a downstairs cloakroom bathroom. Weaving bespoke design elements into an existing Blaines-inspired haven. The centrepiece of this metamorphosis was a custom niche meticulously crafted into the wall. This niche, designed not only for practical storage but also to exude sophistication, was further enhanced by strategically placed lights, casting a warm radiance that envelops the entire space.
The foundation of our design vision took root in fully tiled Kahlo Grey patterned floor tiles. Not just a visual spectacle, these tiles promise durability, making a statement while remaining practical for a space that sees its fair share of traffic.
Our wall treatment was a dance of colour and texture. Herringbone duck egg blue brick tiles adorned half of the walls. Weaving a classic charm and introducing a visually dynamic element. Whilst the upper half was painted in the dark “Urban Obsession” Dulux Paint. The feature wall behind the WC received special attention, fully tiled with wallpaper-matched tiles, ensuring a seamless flow of grout lines and tile direction.
Modern meets functionality with the installation of a wall-hung WC, contributing to the overall open and airy feel of the cloakroom. Carefully chosen brass accents from Roper Rhodes—tap, flush plate, mirror, overflow cover, waste, toilet seat hinge covers, in a brushed brass finish. These products along with the brass tile trim and light fittings unified the design elements with a touch of luxury.
To further elevate the aesthetic, we selected the Roper Rhodes Elate vanity unit and mirror. Not merely practical, these pieces seamlessly integrated into the overall design, adding to the refined cohesion of the space.
